Overview
The Gen 20 is a heavy-duty HHO system purpose-built for large diesel engines — trucks, generators, trawlers and industrial equipment. It consists of 6 cells (3 double cells — 33 plates) of SS316L stainless steel cathodes and patented alloy anodes, mounted in a high-density polyethylene enclosure with laser-welded plates.
Laser welding provides superior conductivity compared to TIG welding, maximising gas output per amp of input current.
Performance
Independently certified (Kitech K40 report, June 2023): 32% fuel savings on a 27-tonne, 7.2-litre 2022 diesel truck. 57% CO₂ reduction. Twin Gen 20 configurations have been deployed on 16-litre diesel trucks for Coogee Chemicals, and on 19-litre diesel trawlers in Townsville, Queensland.
January 2025 Update
The patented ionic resin module water purification process is now standard on all Gen 20 units, increasing gas production and extending electrode life.
Enclosure
Mounted in welded stainless steel or aluminium enclosure boxes. Twin units can be connected in parallel for engines over 16 litres.
