Petrol & Gasoline Engine Installation
Installation on petrol and gasoline engines follows the same general process as diesel, with some specific differences:
Air Intake Connection
On petrol engines, inject the HHO gas into the intake manifold or air intake plenum — after the mass airflow (MAF) sensor on fuel-injected engines. This ensures the MAF reading is not affected by the gas flow.
MAP/MAF Sensor Enhancer
On some modern petrol vehicles with MAF or MAP sensors, a sensor enhancer may be required to recalibrate the engine management system for the additional combustion efficiency. See the MAP/MAF sensor installation guide.
Electrical Connection
- Install 30A circuit breaker in the positive supply line
- Install solenoid relay (constant-on when ignition active)
- Connect PWM controller — start at 25A for Gen 10 on standard passenger cars
Recommended Settings — Gen 10 on Cars
- Voltage: 13.2V (modern battery)
- Current: 25–30A
- Output: 3.2–3.6 LPM HHO
